These
pictures began with my sketches made at Sea World and the San Diego Zoo
and branched out into drawings done from specimens in the dioramas
found in great natural history museums throughout the country.

The
work is done in the tradition of careful, loving observation and
recording of nature which has been an integral part of human activity
since the dawn of art on cave walls.
